THIS IS THE MASSAGE STEP BY STEP
It is recommended to use the Gua-Sha stone with clean and hydrated skin with the Dehesia Radiant Skin Nourishing Cream or Serum so that these products also penetrate better and act in depth.
Use the Gua-Sha between 5 and 10 minutes following these areas in order and with moderate pressure.
The longest part is the side. The two rounded edges are the corners. With these two concepts, this is the key massage to use it well:
1. Put the side of the Gua-Sha on your shoulder, right where it ends and where the neck begins. Make ascending scrapes until you reach the base of the skull. Once on the skull, rest the side of your neck on the flat area of the Gua Sha and make slight movements to the right and left, repeating 5 times on each side.
2. With the corner of the Gua-Sha go to the hairline, starting from the center of the head, as if you wanted to “comb” your hair in a straight line to the end of the skull. Once there, support the flat part of the Gua Sha and make light hand movements to the left and right 5 times. Repeat this series and draw three equal lines to the right side and to the left side, repeating the same action.
3. Rest your chin on the side of the Gua-Sha, tilt the instrument slightly so that it rests on your chin. Make upward movements here from the chin to below the ear, tracing the line of the chin. Raise the Gua-Sha and repeat the action 5 times on each side.
These 3 movements will manage to accumulate the tension accumulated in the face during the day, thus mitigating the lines of expression.
Caution: Do not use Gua-Sha on an area of recent bumps, cuts, ulcers, or wounds. Neither if you are pregnant, on edema, thrombi, with very thin or weak skin, if you have coagulation problems or take anticoagulant medication, nor on moles.
