The adventure of Centifolia begins at 1983 with a passion and vision that has not changed since then: the love for plants and the benefit of their incredible properties.

The publication of a botanical thesis on the extraordinary vitality of plants that live, flourish and develop under extreme conditions has allowed the discovery of the treasures of the ingenuity they have to survive: since these plants have no choice but to adapt to their environment , they secrete fabulous assets that allow them to survive.

The revolutionary idea of Centifolia consisted in isolating these prodigious assets to apply them to the care of the skin.

Located in a green environment in the middle of its own organic fields, in the former estate of the founding family, Centifolia has an important research center and a production unit considered among the 1.000 most ecological companies in the world.

Every day, our experts work to grow raw materials, design, manufacture, package and ship all Centifolia products.

The products are manufactured with a global eco-responsible approach, in a single farm, between Nantes and Poitiers, of more than 15,000 m², in an ecological area of 30 hectares.

Classified as a refuge for the LPO (Bird Protection League), the farm houses a unique biodiversity that was the subject of an inventory at 2014.

The farm is autonomous in electricity up to 25% of its needs thanks to a powerful combination of energy: two solar power plants and a wind turbine.

The energies used are in an 75% of renewable origin (including the heating of 2 biomass boilers). Part of the biomass is also grown on the farm (Miscanthus, Acacia, Ash).

At each stage of manufacturing, products undergo rigorous quality control and independent laboratories perform dermatological and microbiological tests.
