HISTORY AND ORIGIN

Clay is a type of soil produced by the metamorphosis of the rock that is naturally rich in mineral salts.

It is found in larger or smaller deposits and, in most cases, is extracted from open pit. It has been used for centuries for its many benefits.

Many civilizations (Egyptians, Greeks, Indians, Chinese) have used clay to care for and protect their skins and bodies.

Clay stands out from other elements in that it is absorbent and adsorbent, which means that it can exchange impurities absorbed by beneficial minerals.

THE MOST USED CLAYS

Illicit green clay is found mainly in the Massif Central and the Paris Basin of France. It is reliable and versatile.

Montmorillonite green clay is found mainly in the Languedoc, Provence and Massif Central regions of France, where it is also known as 'Terre de Sommières' or 'Terre de Carpentras'. This clay is pure and particularly rich in minerals.

Kaolinitic white clay is one of the softest for the skin. It is located in France (Great Britain) and Englaland.

Our products are formulated with natural ingredients that come in part from organic farming (grown without fertilizers or synthetic pesticides):

no transgenics
without paraffin, silicone or PEG, without aluminum salts
no synthetic fragrance or artificial coloring
no synthetic preservatives not authorized under the Ecocert standard, such as parabens, phenoxyethanol, EDTA and DMDM hydantoin

without raw materials of animal origin (only ingredients derived from animal production that have no effect on animal health are allowed)
Packaging made mainly of recyclable materials (PE and PP)
