Alqvimia Gua Sha – Bian Stone

The Bian or Bianshi Stone is considered in traditional Chinese medicine as a therapeutic stone to treat various pains. Treatment with the Bian Stone is said to have given rise to acupuncture. These precious Bianshi or Bian Stone beads have a beautiful satin tone, which gives them a particular appearance. Bian stones, considered the best tools for Gua Sha, were formed about 65 million years ago when a meteorite collided with Earth in Shandong, China. When rubbed against the skin, the stone emits ultrasonic impulses that help increase microcirculation. Bian stones produce around triple the pulses compared to Jade and Rose Quartz, which are often used as gua sha tools. Massage using the gua sha technique relieves tension in the muscles. How to use
At the facial level we will apply the gua sha with clean and toned skin, we will do the massage with the help of a vegetable oil (better enhanced with an essential oil to increase its properties) or with one of our serums.
GUA SHA TREATMENT
Discover the steps/movements we recommend to achieve an immediate lifting effect on the facial oval with the gua-sha stone, define the cheekbone, nourish the skin tissue, activate blood circulation, detoxify the skin and reduce puffiness and dark circles. Remember: Work each step/movement on each side of the face separately with the recommended repetitions.
1. MAKING CONTACT
With this step/movement we start the complete treatment, massaging gently with the gua sha upwards through the neck and face. We repeat the movement 3-5 times in the indicated area. For this movement we will use ZONE 1: OVAL EDGE We recommend repeating this step/movement to close the treatment.
2. RELAX CERVICAL AREA, TRAPEZIUS AND NECK IN FRONT
In an ascending direction we massage the neck area in front until we reach the chin, we massage the trapezius in an upward direction until just behind the ears and finally we massage the neck until we reach the nape of the neck. We repeat the movement 3-5 times in the indicated area. Massage with greater pressure and end with a Zig Zag to activate the insertion of the facial muscles. For this movement we will use ZONE 2: V FORM EDGE
3. SCULPT AND LIFT
With the step/movement to sculpt and lift, we work the area of the facial oval (chin), cheek, and the arch of the eyebrow. A movement designed to firm, enhance and sculpt the massaged areas. We repeat the movement 3-5 times in the indicated area. Massage with greater pressure and end with a Zig Zag to activate the insertion of the facial muscles. For this movement we will use ZONE 2: V-SHAPE EDGE *We recommend doing this movement daily or at least 2 times a week to achieve remarkable results.
4. PRESSURE POINT BETWEEN THE EYEBROWS
With the step/movement we will be able to relax and loosen the area and wrinkles between the eyebrows. We start from the entrance of the nose in an ascending way and we keep pressing just below the eyebrow for 3-5 seconds. We repeat the movement 3-5 times in the indicated area. For this movement we will use ZONE 2: V-SHAPE EDGE *We recommend doing it at any time of the day when we find ourselves with tension, headaches, etc. alone or combined with the relaxation step and chin, neck and cervical massages.
5. FRICTION IN WRINKLES
A step/movement designed to activate and regenerate collagen and elastin. Indicated for friction in wrinkles of the rictus, lips, area of the external contour of the eye and in the area between the eyebrows and forehead. The movement must be worked in the opposite direction of the wrinkle. Example: The wrinkles between the eyebrows are vertical, work them horizontally. We repeat the movement for 15 – 30 seconds in the indicated areas. *We can use it to rub and activate the circulatory system of the scalp. Neck, body, areas where there is pain, such as contractures. For this movement we will use ZONE 4: BORDE SIERRA
6. SCULPT, DRAIN AND RAISE SMALLER AREAS
A step/movement designed to firm the facial oval. For wrinkles in the eye area, forehead and to drain bags and dark circles. We repeat the movement 3-5 times in the indicated areas. For this movement we will use ZONE 3: STRAIGHT EDGE *Remember to end the treatment with the touchdown movement to relax the massaged areas.
