Alqvimia Laurel Essential Oil
The laurel was the symbol of triumph for both the Greeks and the Romans; the laurel wreaths were placed on the heads of the victorious generals, emperors and poets. In medieval times, students and graduates were also crowned with laurel branches (bacca laurea).
The laurel, like rosemary, in Greek mythology was dedicated to Apollo, god of light, poetry and prophecy. It was Apollo who, according to tradition, instituted that a laurel wreath should be a sign of success in the arts when his beloved nymph Daphne was transformed into a laurel tree to escape his love purposes.
Laurel Essential Oil also promotes mental concentration.
On a cosmetic level, Laurel Essential Oil has multiple properties, since it is astringent, anti-inflammatory, immunostimulant, antimicrobial and astringent. In turn regulates sebaceous secretion, very useful to fight acne.
Polarity
YANG
Etymologically it means "the slope of the sunny mountain."
Yang energy is centripetal, compact, agglutinates, gathers, gives unity and strength. It is connected to the sun, force, unity, masculine, heat, fire, control, speed, movement, energy ...
When a person has an excess of strength Yang in his body is too hot, too much fire, hyper-functioning occurs and you have to rebalance with the Yin energy supply to return to well-being and harmony. A person of Yang character tends to be impulsive, self-confident, with a tendency to leadership, competitive, poorly tolerant, accurate and concrete.
Well-being is defined as a balance between Yin and Yang. An imbalance is the result of a deficiency or an excess of Yin energy or Yang energy. The optimum is to make our body adapt to changing conditions, maintaining the balance between these two opposite and complementary energies.
