Alqvimia Ginger Essential Oil
Ginger Essential Oil is believed to be native to India and was one of the first spices to arrive in Europe from Asia. Its beneficial properties have been appreciated over the centuries and are already mentioned by the Chinese philosopher Confucius, by Dioscorides and in the Koran. The Greeks and Romans also used it in their dual role of medicine and spice. The ancient Egyptians cultivated it and used it in food with the aim of preventing and curbing epidemics. Dioscorides recommended it to activate circulation.
It is known for its great anti-inflammatory power and it is recommended to incorporate it into the diet daily to combat inflammatory states and specifically in case of arthritis.
It has a great calorific and alkalizing power. Due to its botanical sensitivity, an Asian crop origin is required since American ginger is highly acidifying, making its use dangerous.
Among its properties and benefits are:
At Cosmetic Level: Ginger Essential Oil has several cosmetic properties, as it is anti-inflammatory, detoxifying and tonic.
At Therapeutic Level: It is a very effective essential oil to combat all types of nausea even during pregnancy (always under supervision). Helps eliminate flatulence. In Chinese medicine, the symptom of a cold uterus is treated with the aim of providing temperature and improving fertility. It acts as an intestinal detoxifier. Ideal to combat temperature changes due to yin imbalance and hot flashes in menopause.
At the Emotional Level: Ginger Essential Oil stimulates energy and at the same time helps combat nervous exhaustion, relieving tiredness and chronic fatigue. It transmits warmth to the heart and discovers the sleeping feelings. Memory enhancer, works with states of apathy and resignation. Together with Nutmeg Essential Oil and Clove Essential Oil, it works with vertigo of unconscious origin.
It is one of the essential oils that help balance the formulas; similar to lemon but with slightly yang polarity. Of choice along with cumin for master formulas aimed at balancing a digestive system with excess yin.
